Taban Khudhur Omar

Taban holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from the University of Kurdistan-Hawler, a BA in English Language and Literature from Salahaddin University. Taban's interests in teaching are ESP, EAP, peace education, ELT, and cross-cultural communication. Besides teaching, Taban is interested in translation. She has translated several short stories, articles, legal and official documents as a freelancer. Also, she is a Kurdish language reviewer and translator at TED Conferences. Previously, she taught courses in Grammar, Composition, Comprehension, Reading, Writing, Anthology, Vocabulary, Class Readers, Academic Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking, Introduction to Education, and General English at international schools, language institutes, and a university in KRI.
