Maysaa Abdulkareem Mahmood is a lecturer at the Department of English Language Teaching , College of Education , Knowledge University. She holds Master and Bachelor Degrees in English Language and Linguistics from Baghdad University .Her general major is Applied Linguistics and her specific major is Discourse Analysis. Mrs. Maysa has been working since 2007 as a university lecturer, researcher, external evaluator, and translator. She had organized many training sessions and workshops related to English language skills' enhancement and development .She has also participated in conferences and symposiums and was granted an IELTS Trainer Certificate from Stevenson College-Edinburgh in 2012 for successfully accomplishing an advanced training course regarding questions' evaluation, designing curriculum and assessment criteria for IELTS. Mrs. Maysa’s main research interests include, Discourse Analysis , Conversational Repair Techniques and language Skills enhancement in EFL/ESL Classrooms .
