Finance Manager

About the Role
The Finance and Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and payroll functions of the organization. This includes managing the budgeting and forecasting process, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, experience with invoicing. The manager will also be responsible for managing the payroll process, including processing payroll and helping to manage benefits and taxes.
Working with the CFO, this is a unique opportunity to work in a global, scaling start-up and leave your mark on the business as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Prepare and manage the organization's budget and forecast
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, tracking employee time and attendance, and managing benefits and taxes
Provide financial analysis and reports to management
Work with external auditors and tax advisors
Manage a globally distributed team

Experience/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a finance or payroll role
Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and payroll laws
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with, or proficiency in financial software and payroll systems
