Advanced Science is an avenue for highly motivated students to take high school level biology in 8^th grade. The prerequisite for this course is 6^th grade Advanced Science. Students will not be able to enter this course without first taking the Advanced Science course in 6^th grade. This course will cover 6^th,7^th and 8^th grade level topics involving Earth, Space, Matter and Energy. The rigor of the class is higher and critical thinking skills are required. This course moves at a much more rapid pace, condensing three years of science into two years. Even students who are gifted and talented, will find they need to work hard.
