6^th Advanced Mathematics is a challenging, fast-paced class. The course curriculum covers all 6^th grade concepts and about half of the 7^th grade math concepts in one school year. Some mathematical concepts will be introduced at the 6^th grade level and expanded and tested at the 7^th grade level. (Equations, Percentages)

Chromebooks are used to work on interactive activities regularly, and assignments are posted in Schoology. Students will be expected to use a notebook to take notes and to work out math problems on paper, and on white boards. Students will be expected to justify work by writing about mathematics.

To be successful in and enjoy PAP math, students need to complete all assignments, be willing to explore concepts in depth, be bold about asking for help, and be willing to practice, practice, practice.
