Hello Cardinals and parents! My name is Erin Clanton and this is my third year as the Krahn librarian. I previously taught for ten years as an English/Language Arts teacher. I am very excited to continue sharing my love of reading with the students of Krahn.
Krahn Elementary Library will ensure educational and personal success by providing curriculum support through partnerships that create innovative 21st Century learning opportunities. The library will support student achievement through the acquisition of print and web-based resources used in the implementation of TEKS aligned curriculum in all content areas. Our ultimate goals are for all students and staff to be effective and responsible users of information and for all students to be enthusiastic and critical readers.
Purpose Starts Here!
Our purpose is to create a welcoming and inviting environment for all students and staff by providing flexible, open access for library services. We strive to provide resources that support the interests of both students and staff. We will build information literacy skills and serve as an instructional partner to teachers to ensure 21st century readiness for every student.
Thank you for visiting the Krahn Library virtual classroom!
