FAQs

Who can attend Pin-It?

This is Klein's Pin-It 7th year and all educators are invited (Klein and non-Klein employees).

Do I have to stay for the whole day or can I come to only certain sessions?

Pin-It is an all day conference. When you register in Eduphoria, you are committing to the whole day. You will receive 6 hours for your attendance and you will be able to choose from 11 different sessions per hour. There is a keynote speaker after lunch which all participants need to attend.

How do I register?

Klein ISD Employee: register in Eduphoria starting May 3, 2019. ***You will receive 6 hours for this conference and when you register, you are signing up for the whole day 8:00-3:30. Once you are at the conference you have 11 sessions per hour to choose from.

****Non-Klein ISD Employee: Registration begins on May 3, 2019.

Does it cost money?

Klein ISD Employees: free

Non-Klein ISD Employees: $15 per person

What do I need to bring to the conference?

You will need to bring a charged computer or electronic device. Since this year's conference is located on a campus, extra computers will not be available to check-out. Each session will share their resources digitally through google docs.

What about lunch?

You have an hour for lunch and it is on your own. There are multiple restaurants within a couple miles of the Klein High. You can also bring your lunch and eat at Klein High. There are also a few microwaves available for you to use in the teacher's lounge.

What type of sessions will be offered?

There will be over 30 sessions offered at Pin-It this year. The sessions will include technology, hands-on, implementing Lead4ward components, integrating literature and writing, EL strategies, and much more. What about parking?

There are two large parking-lots at Klein High. The check-In table is located by the front door and the closet parking lot is located on Stuebner Airline.

Can I present at Pin-It?

This year we are only accepting presenter proposals from Klein ISD employees. If you are a Klein ISD employee and you are interested in presenting at the 2019 Pin-It, please complete and submit Presenter Proposal by April 12, 2019. You will receive confirmation by April 26 if you were chosen to present. You also need to sign up for the Presenters Purpose College Essentials Course (link located in the Presenter Proposal).
