The Principles course teaches students about different Manufacturing careers. Diversified Manufacturing and Precision Metals 1 & 2 students are taught to become machinist, by learning how to operate manual and CNC Machines. Students also learn the skills of writing programs using G & M Coding, designing programs with Mastercam, and using precision tooling. Students can also take Dual Credit.

Students learn machining by doing projects on manual and CNC machines. Students learn skills that will allow them to obtain a job in Machining or Manufacturing career straight out of High School. Students can also earn college credit in the Dual Credit courses that will allow them to obtain certificates and a 2 year degree from a college or Trades School.
