Money Matters is a business course recommended as an intro course for the Accounting & Financial Services pathway. Students will gain knowledge of bank record management, use of credit, investing, insurance and budgets. In addition to financial market and securities analysis. They will determine methods of achieving long-term financial goals through investment, tax planning, asset allocation, risk management, retirement planning, and estate planning. Current economic events indicate that it is never too early for students to gain an awareness of factors that will impact their short-term and long-term financial plans.
