I teach the Law I classes as kind of a basic introduction to the Careers in Law Enforcement and continue in Law II to expand their knowledge while at the same time offering a certification/training in CERT or Community Emergency Response Team,
I took Law I to get a better idea as to what police officers have to do and deal with day to day-Julian
I loved being in Mr. Lindsey's Law I class so I signed up for Law II the following year-Alberto
All of my classes except Forensic Psychology have the hands on of being able to do things in the classroom ranging from Handcuffing, Pat-downs, searches, fingerprinting, DWI Tests using "Drunk Goggles", Super-Glue fuming, "Maggot Art". Entomology, Blood Spatter Evidence, Shoe Casting/Impressions, Crowd Control, Use of Force Continuum. Serial Killer Project in Law I, Create a Serial Killer Project in Forensic Psychology As you can see, we have a lot of hands on that we do throughout the school year that really helps break up the class time . I have always found that most kids would rather do the hands on vs. in classroom learning, so I always try to do more hands on than actual class learning.
