Dance I-IV classes are classes that allow students to learn a variety of dance genres including: ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, folk/social, and much more! KF students can take dance class as a fine arts or PE credit. This means that you can take 4 years of dance and fulfill your requirements for graduation. Students who decided to take dance class need to dress out and participate every day. Dance class students have the opportunity to participate in stage performances in the Fall and Spring semesters. There is a $35 class fee associated with this class - this fee covers a lock, locker, dance class t-shirt, and the performance fees for the year. Come with an open mind and get ready to have fun!
"I like to dance and be able to express myself".
"This is the only time out of my day where I can be active and have fun".
"The teacher is not just a teacher, she interacts with you in a collaborative way - like a family".
"The only thing you need in this class is dance clothes, effort, and an open mind".
Throughout the year, you will learn the dance basics for ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, folk/social, and much more! You will also have the opportunity to perform in stage performances in the Fall and Spring semesters.
