Jonathan: "I really enjoy this class because I get to learn how to breakdance and workout at the same time"
Students learn the history and origin of the Hip Hop culture and what it looks like today. Students also warm up, stretch, and either learn the technique and fundamentals of the dance or integrate the dance movements into a workout every day. The dancing focuses on toprock (the dancing you do standing up), footwork (steps you do on your hands and feet), Freezes (poses on different parts of your body such as headstands, shoulder freeze, handstand), and power moves (dynamic moves such as windmills and flares).
