Students will design, write, produce, exhibit, and publish multimedia content. The course will be project-based with emphasis on industry standards for all aspects of the production process for digital content. Areas of instruction include cinema history and development, cinematography and the operation of video cameras, audio engineering, editing with Adobe Premiere, lighting, script writing, direction, production, and marketing/distribution

In a nutshell, students will learn the basics of video production.

This class is useful for learning skills about how to create videos and short films and those who plan on going into the content creator or filmmaking field can get useful tips from this class. It’s fun to be innovative and create great shots by thinking out of the box and thinking of ways to tell a story and provide information from certain angles and video production. -Julia
