My students are taught the professional and academic side of Engineering by instilling a professional setting that is infused with becoming proficient in the required Computer Aided Drawing programs (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks) that are used in both settings. The requirements for becoming a specific engineer, the ethics and legal responsibilities of engineers, and working as a team through various activities are also covered. The ability to become certified in the various drawing programs allows the student to have an advantage over others and shows future employers their expertise and diligence for mastering their chosen field.
The Engineering Classes that are taught by Mrs. Williams are pretty intriguing and by the book, due to the fact that everything is learned by the book and that she allows you to truly experience the different programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, etc. There is a grand majority of students who have the same mindset of truly doing their best, and I believe Mrs. Williams allows that to occur, with many lessons to be learned.
