Advanced Anatomy & Physiology is a fast-paced course for students that have successfully completed Biology, Chemistry, & the STAAR exam(s). These students should be interested in pursuing a career in the health fields or have an interest in becoming better informed patients. They will have a complete survey of the human body's systems, structures (both histological and gross levels), functions, disruption of homeostasis (deviating from the "norms").

This course has an enriched supply of medical vocabulary that is taught, and a substantial science component that is coupled with major dissections/lab piece. In addition to the study skills that your student(s) will acquire in class, it is imperative that they continue their studies outside of class so that they are able to take full ownership of their learning. Everything that is taught and learned is continuously being referenced to as we explore the design and function of the greatest creation ever, the human body.
