AP Macroeconomics is a college-level course that introduces students to the principles of economic systems. The main topics covered in this course are: national income, price-level determination, how economic performance is measured, the financial sector, government stabilization policies, economic growth, and international trade. Students will learn to use graphs, charts, and data to analyze, describe, and explain economic concepts. The course satisfies the state requirement for 1 semester of Economics for graduation and prepares students to master the AP Macroeconomics Exam in May to earn college credit.

Students will be introduced to complex economic concepts in an interactive and collaborative environment. Students learn Economic principles and put them into practice through interactive lessons, group collaboration activities, and practical assignments. Students use economic models and examples to illustrate and explain economic concepts. The course focuses on preparation for the AP Exam and developing the knowledge and skills needed to understand and participate in the global economy of our world.
