African American Studies is a year long elective course where you will learn about the history and cultural contributions African Americans. We will study African American contributions from civil rights, to pop culture and so much more. Join us if you are interested in discovering all the ways in which African Americans have impacted both American society and our global society.

I like that this class gives me a rundown of what's happening today and connects it with history.
