AP Macroeconomics helps students make sense of the factors that influence the economy. Students work with various graphs and theories to interpret how different changes would effect the country represented. Major topics include supply and demand, gross domestic product, unemployment, inflation, interest, and the money supply. These concepts are learned through student ownership of the content and creative projects that connect the material to real life situations. Students are provided with access to concept review materials that help clarify their understand and help prepare them for mastering the AP Exam and understanding these concepts as they continue working toward their personal goals after high school.

Students do group practice problems, group FRQ collaboration, interactive trade activity, graphing on white boards or on their desks. Multiple formats for delivering information are used: powerpoint, readings, videos, Khan Academy (AP), quizzlet/kahoots, etc.
