Integrated Physics and Chemistry is a course that takes a broad overview of the key concepts of physics and chemistry. The goal of IPC is to give students a practical, understanding of these two traditionally rigorous subjects through hands-on, real-world application. In IPC, we cover everything from the basic structure of the atom, chemical bonding and the organization of the periodic table to how forces such as gravity inertia and electricity shape the world around us.
While IPC is still an academic science course, it focuses less on the complex concepts and math skill mastery traditionally expected of a 4-year college applicant and is generally better suited to a student bound for the workforce, a vocational program, or community college.
"It’s easy, just turn in your work to be successful. The work is chunked and broken up so you have time to work on assignments."
"The class is fun, but don’t slack off."
"Take notes with the teacher".
"Topics are similar to eighth grade science".
"The chemistry is matched to real life things".
