Earth and Space Science is a course designed to develop students’ understanding of the role that Earth plays in space and time. The course is divided into 3 main themes; Earth in space and time, solid Earth, and fluid Earth. “Earth in Space and Time” examines the origins of the universe and follows the processes that led to the formation of planet Earth. “Solid Earth” examines the geologic processes that produced the Earth as we know it today. “Fluid Earth” examines climate, oceanography, and other processes that are actively shaping life on Earth.
“You should take this class because it's important to know how the earth and oceans work and what makes up our planet Earth. Especially nowadays, it's important to understand what can help and what is harmful to the earth, and also to know how our earth and cycles function so we can help.”
“I would recommend this class, it is interesting and we learn about our environment and world. There’s not a lot of homework.”
