Pre-Calculus Advanced is an upper level math course for college bound students. You will deepen your algebra understanding by analyzing the behavior of functions graphically and algebraically. Then, you will use your foundational skills of trigonometry from Geometry to understand trigonometric functions as periodic functions and their application in Calculus.

Pre-Cal is a college-bound course, emphasizing academic readiness and student ownership of learning. Classes are often “flipped” - expecting students to cover notes via video lecture - so actual class time can be spent on applied math practice work with direct teacher support. Because of this, it’s best suited for students that are organized and self-motivated by understanding the value of the material.
