These are often done without a graphing calculator. Students are expected to work in small groups and individually to answer questions.
“Really remember Algebra 1 because Algebra 2 has similar concepts (who would’ve guessed? haha!) and always study the video lessons so that you are prepared for the tests.” -Nathan
“It’s a little more work, but if you really like math and you’re willing to put in the effort, it really pays off.” - Carmen
“Dust off your Algebra 1 notebook because this class is way different than Geometry.” - Sam
Students will regularly work together in small groups to investigate concepts. Daily collaboration in small groups can be expected. Students will need to write explanations and justify answers while completing work. Homework may include practicing skills, writing justifications or completing an IXL. Classroom format may include collaborative small groups, stations, or whole class discussion for daily classwork practice. Unit tests are given typically every 2-3 weeks.
