Beginning Art

Beginning art is designed to cultivate creativity, encourage critical thinking and explore culture as well as history through art. We will be building knowledge of the principles and elements of art through various types of art mediums, examples from different artists, art movements, and art history.

In other words, we will be CREATING and MAKING ART -- we will draw, paint, work with 3D projects, do digital art, and much more! This course is for 6th grade only, 7th and 8th graders will need to look for Intro to Art.
