Hofius Summer Reading Challenge
Summer is the perfect time to read, and now you can earn prizes at the same time!
Here's how it works:
Beginning May 18, read any book you want that you haven't read before. (Yes, graphic novels & audiobooks count too!)
Post a book review on Flipgrid (instructions below).
For each review you post, your name will be entered into a drawing for some great prizes - gift cards, food, library privileges, & more!
Read and review at least 8 books and earn a pizza party when we return to school!
All reviews must be submitted by September 13.
If you don't have access to create Flipgrids this summer, you may write your reviews and either email them or turn them in to Mrs. Nalley in August.
Flipgrid Book Review Instructions:
Option 1: Upload from this website
Click Log In with Google and enter your school email address.
Click the big green (+) button. (You may need to enable your camera)
Record your video - include all of the details listed below!

Download the Flipgrid App (it's free!).

Each book review video must contain:
Your first & last name
Your grade that you will be in August
The title & author of the book
A brief summary of the book - no spoilers! Don't give away the ending!
Why you recommend the book
Your face does not have to be in the video. If you prefer, you can video the book cover or something related to the book while talking.
If you don't want your video visible to others, please mention that in the video or email Mrs. Nalley and it won't be shared.
**Your video won't be visible to others until Mrs. Nalley views & approves it! Please don't repost the same review if you don't see it immediately - I'm checking every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday!**
