No Place for Hate

Greenwood Forest will once again be working toward a No Place for Hate designation this year!

As a requirement for designation, we must complete at least 3 activities that promote kindness, respect and tolerance. Along with completing those activities, students must also sign a resolution of respect indicating that they want Greenwood Forest to be a No Place for Hate school. We also encourage parents, staff members and community members to sign the resolution throughout the year to show their support for this positive program.

The No Place for HateĀ® initiative provides educators and students with the resources to ensure that anti-bias and diversity education are an integral part of the school curriculum. No Place for HateĀ® also helps to create and sustain inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed by promoting respect for individual difference while challenging bigotry and prejudice.
