  • JOB OPPORTUNITY (MEAL COUNT ASSISTANT): Kekaulike is looking for a Meal Count Assistant! Major duties include assisting with collection of meal payments and scanning ID cards during meal times. If you are interested, please call the school (808) 727-3500.
  • JOB OPPORTUNITY (SCHOOL HEALTH AIDE): Kekaulike is looking for a School Health Aide. Main duties include provide first aid and emergency care to students, complete documentation on the health room log, and protect and maintain the confidentiality of all student information in the Health Room.   • FEDERAL IMPACT AID SURVEY CARDS have been distributed to all students. Please return completed cards to your child's period 1 teacher. Collection of these survey cards could greatly benefit our school and that we aim to collect 100% each year.   • FOODLAND'S "GIVE ALOHA" CAMPAIGN: September 1 - 30. All Foodland, Sack N Save, and Foodland Farm stores in Hawai'i are participating.   • AP REGISTRATION & PAYMENT begins Sept. 9 and ends Nov. 1, 2019. AP Coordinator Mrs. Manlansing is continuing to visit AP classes to get student registered on both and complete the AP Registration google form. Regular standard payment is $94 per AP exam. For students on free or reduced lunch; or who maybe part of the EOC TRIO, Upward Bound programs may qualify for a fee reduction. Attention Students, the MIL Paddling Season is around the corner and pre-season training will begin soon. If you are interested in paddling this year, there will a quick informational meeting on Monday, September 16th in E-206 during lunch.
For both JV and Varsity Girls interested in joining basketball please call Coach Cy Peters for more information @ 808-870-5977. Athletes will not be able to participate without a current physical and risk assumption form submitted. Forms can be obtained through the Front Office.
JV Boys start date is Oct 7 @ KKHS Stadium. Varsity pre-season workouts will start soon. Please look out for updates. In order to train, all athletes must have a current athletic physical and assumption of risk form submitted to the trainers
JV: Practice will be starting on Monday, Sep 30, 3:30pm - 5:30pm at the stadium. Athletes will not be able to participate without a current physical and risk assumption form submitted to the trainers. Don't forget to bring all necessary equipment to practice. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Kihara in G206.
BOTH: There will be a mandatory parent meeting for Girl’s Soccer on Tuesday, October 1 at 6pm in the Cafe. We will be going over required information for participation. This meeting is for both JV and Varsity Girls Soccer parents.
All students interested in playing junior varsity or varsity baseball this year, off-season training will start Wednesday, September 3, 2019. The weekly schedule will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the KKHS weight room and baseball field. There will be no work-outs on non-school days or holidays. All participants must have an updated physical and assumption of risk form completed prior to working out. Forms need to be turned in to the Athletic Trainer prior to the start date. Off-season training will emphasize on building strength, improve conditioning, speed and quickness and sport specific fundamentals. By attending the off-season training you will be reducing the risk of injury by properly preparing your body for the season. If you want to play baseball this year and not currently playing a fall sport, it is highly recommended that you attend all scheduled off-season workouts. Items needed for workouts: t-shirt, shorts, glove, cleats, tennis shoes and cap.
There will be voluntary workouts for wrestling starting on August 27. They will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3 - 4:45pm in the wrestling room. In order to train, all athletes must have a current athletic physical and assumption of risk form submitted to the trainers.

Off Season Training for King Kekaulike Track and field Daily from 2:15 to 4pm meet at the Stadium. You must have a current sports physical and signed risk and consent form on file with the athletic trainers to participate.
