"The Stella" by Sandini Ayagama
Individual project (1).mp4An Arithmetic Sequence : My piece of art which consists of a star series is continued by decreasing 57 cm from the previous shapes’s perimeter because the difference between each shape’s perimeter after calculating showed a difference of 57cm . Since it is a pattern that is continued by decreasing a certain amount from the previous term , it comes under the arithmetic progression.

Sequence with Music - Angelina Koh.mp4A Recursive Sequence: The music is a representation of a sequence. The sequence shows that under the condition that the first term is 3, each term equals the previous value added with its position number. I assigned numbers from 0 to 9 to all the notes on the D major scale (C#, D, E, F#, G, A, B, C#, D, E ). And based on the sequence, I played the notes for each number of the sequence values. Although all the sequence values were played by my right hand, I added the left-hand note to make the music sound more appealing.

Alg II Unit 7 Steam Animation.movAn Arithmetic Sequence: My sequence is an arithmetic recursive sequence where the diameter of the circle increases by 2 each term (up to the 20th term). To make the artwork less boring, I added the growth of a baby in the womb.
"Javascript Fractal Tree" By Daniel Nam
A Geometric Sequence: My design uses a sequence that with each iteration, each branch creates two new branches. This causes the original line (the tree trunk) to have branches. This causes the sequence to be a geometric sequence.

A Geometric Sequence: There are 2 antlers and 5 “horns” on each antler. Smallest antler’s height (n=1) is 1cm, the next one (n=2) is 2cm, the next one (n=3) is 4cm, and the next one (n=4) is 8 cm. The last horns that are bended at the ends are there just for the shape.

Arithmetic Sequence: The sequence of my art piece is the increasing number of shapes each time. For example, it starts with four shapes in the beginning that consists of two circles, and two droplet-like shapes and increases by four shapes in total.
"Swirl" by Jiye Shin
Geometric Sequence: My artwork is a geometric sequence. I focused on the perimeter. The hexagon’s perimeter increases two times more than the an-1. A1 is 6 and it goes all the way to a12. I decided to use the colors of the rainbow because I wanted to show the swirl of the geometric sequence and how you can use math to create an artwork.
