The Interact Club held a clothing drive/exchange over the weekend and had tremendous turnout from the community. They were able to donate 1000 lbs of clothes at the end of the event.

Thank you to our nutrition team for putting on special Thanksgiving lunches in each of our schools the week before Thanksgiving! They were met with rave reviews!
We successfully completed our November Food Drive with over 650 lbs of food collected for Footprints. Thank you to everyone who participated and a particular thank you to Megan Abbott for organizing all of the logistics. Also a thank you to the students who helped bring the food over to Footprints!
Traip Student Elizabeth Cyr did an amazing job singing the National Anthem at the Wreaths Across America Ceremony on Saturday.
It was a delight to see visitors enjoying lunch with students at Mitchell Primary School at the "Special Person" luncheon. Our School Nutrition Kitchen Staff did an amazing job....thank you!
Advanced Art students had their portraits on display at the Ogunquit museum of art over the weekend. The portraits can now be found at Rice Library. The students worked all fall with an artist in residence to create these portraits.
Cold Weather and Winter Recess
Winter officially begins December 21st. Please make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the changing temperatures during the winter months. They should have a warm coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, boots, and any other cold-weather gear needed to stay comfortable outside (waiting for the bus, recess, and walking to/from school).
It's important to us that all students are safe, warm, and ready to learn!
If your family needs assistance with providing warm, suitable clothing for your child, please contact the Principal's Office at your child's school.

Great things are happening at Traip Academy's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program....Our boat building students are continuing to work on the Lumberyard Skiff and Lighthouse Tender.
