Schwuchow's Sunshines

Hello, sunshines!

My name is Holly Schwuchow and I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to share the excitement of learning and growing with your child! I love teaching at Ledgewood School and this is my 6th year of teaching for the Kinnikinnick School District! I always wanted to teach for this District and with a bit of perseverance, hard work and enthusiasm I met my goal. Dreams do come true!

I am a true "Hoosier", as I grew up in Noblesville, Indiana and I graduated from Indiana University in 2001. I also met my husband, John, at Indiana University. We are both in the field of education, so education is always a hot topic in our home. Chris and Gracie are our two amazing kids! I can't believe it, but Chris will be a Sophomore at Hononegah High School this year and Gracie will be a sixth grader at Roscoe Middle School! In my free time I love to be outside, exercise, create, cook and watch my kids at their sporting events.

Marva Collins said, "There is a brilliant child locked inside every student." This is something that I always strive to keep in mind as I strive to create a happy, encouraging and motivating environment for your children as they strive towards their academic, social and emotional goals. I know that with all of our support, guidance and love that each of your children will shine brightly this school year!
