I am so excited to begin my 12th year as a teacher, and my second year at Stone Creek School. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Illinois--Urbana/Champaign and a master's degree from the University of Illinois--Springfield in teacher leadership.

I live in Rockton with my family, including my husband (Jeff), Jackson (9th grade), Grace, (6th grade), and Lucas (4th grade).

My goal for each child in my classroom is for them to feel excited and safe in the classroom. I am excited about planning lessons that require hands-on learning, using 1:1 chromebooks and flexible seating, and utilizing different strategies to meet the needs of each individual student.
