About me

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Tetil and this will be my third year teaching and coaching at Kingston Schools.  I graduated from fellow NCTL school Akron-Fairgrove in 2002 and then went on to Saginaw Valley State University.  There I obtained a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Political Science, my secondary teaching accreditation in English and Social Studies, and my Masters in Educational Leadership. Lifelong learning is extremely important to me; as such, I am currently enrolled in MASA's Horizon Leadership Academy to add a central office endorsement to my state certification.

My family and I moved to the Kingston area from Vassar, where I previously taught grades 6-8.  Our current extracurriculars include expanding and renovating our property, competitive running, showing horses, backpacking, and growing our new engineering company.  We LOVE to travel and and just finished an amazing trip to Everglades National Park in Florida.

I am passionate about raising and educating future leaders, and hold high expectations for myself, my family, and my students.  I firmly believe that every student has the ability to be that leader- in the classroom, on the field, or in the community; it is my job to impart the skills and knowledge to do so!
