As part of our whole school approach to Safeguarding and E-safety we utilise the device monitoring solution Classroom.cloud.
Classroom.cloud is installed onto all of the student laptop devices, supporting teachers to monitor device usage in school.
This software not only enables us to keep children safe, but also ensures we remain compliant with statutory guidance.
Please note, this system is only used with student laptop devices and not iPads. iPads are monitored using Jamf. Please see the iPad School Restrictions page for more information about Jamf.

Monitoring user activity on student devices whilst in school is an important part of providing a safe environment for children and is now a statutory requirement for all schools.
Monitoring allows the teacher to review user activity on student devices so we can ensure they are on task and staying safe. For monitoring to be effective it must pick up incidents urgently, usually through alerts or observations, allowing us to take prompt action and record the outcome. Therefore a variety of monitoring strategies are in place to minimise safeguarding risks on internet connected devices including individual device monitoring through software.
Classroom.cloud, is our software of choice to ensure we meet the required standard and keep our children safe.
