Kindezi Families,
We are well into our third COVID impacted academic year. We have pivoted, adjusted, and there is no doubt that we will pivot and adjust some more.
Know that we are doing all we can to keep your geniuses and our safe while also providing the Kindezi promise of genius awakening experiences.
Thank you for partnering with us and trusting us. Thank you for your grace and patience as we figure out how to live and learn in a pandemic.

Our Community Pledge
Individuals must wear masks/face coverings except when eating or drinking.
Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth at ALL times.
Staff and Geniuses may purchase and wear their own masks, but a non-medical mask will be provided to wear underneath.
Temperature checks will be conducted daily for everyone entering our buildings.
Individuals with a temperature over 100.4°F are not permitted on campus.
Medication may not be given to reduce or mask a fever.
Upon arrival, we'll ask if you or anyone at home is experiencing symptoms of illness.
Individuals exhibiting any symptoms of illness are not permitted on campus.

Geniuses and staff must sanitize at every transition throughout the building.
Classrooms, common spaces and office are equipped with sanitizer stations.
Classrooms and high touch surfaces will be disinfected 2xs daily.
Kindezi will conduct weekly on-site testing for all Kindezi staff, and we invite you to sign up your geniuses in partnership!
Kindezi is partnering with Fulton County Board of Health and CORE Response to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to all geniuses aged 12 and up.
The Kindezi Schools will now be using one central place to report COVID results you receive from testing sites, urgent care, doctors offices, etc.

Breakfast and Lunch
APS will provide breakfast and lunch to geniuses daily. Geniuses who choose to bring lunch from home will be permitted to bring their own lunch.
Geniuses will receive meals (breakfast and lunch) in each classroom. For the safety of geniuses and staff, water fountains will be closed. However, geniuses are encouraged to bring their own water bottles for personal use.
When possible, geniuses will eat outside with adult supervision to promote safe distancing while masks are removed for eating.
Supplies
Each genius will have a designated desk with desk guard.
Geniuses should use their own materials. There should be no sharing of materials or belongings.

Recess
Recess is a very important part of a genius’ day, and Kindezi will continue offering recess to students daily.
Masks and distancing will be required during indoor recess.
Students will also be provided with scheduled outdoor mask breaks daily.
Please send your student to campus dressed appropriately for the day’s weather.
