Our volunteer-based organization has been helping SLO residents in need for 50 years. Grassroots has a threefold mission. One is to host a community thanksgiving dinner, feeding approximately 2000 people, the second is to provide Christmas for 100 disadvantaged families, including toys, stockings, Christmas breakfast & Christmas dinner, and the third is to serve as a year round emergency food pantry to those in immediate need.
