Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashin
Kris Jenner
Seven year old Dream Kardashian has been strutting out into the spotlight recently with her many debuts, one of many being her modeling debut at New York fashion week. Daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, she holds the title of being Kris Jenner’s only grandchild with the Kardashian last name. Fans have begun to notice her as one of Kris Jenner’s youngest and hardest-working grandchildren. Thinking that this may be Dream’s jumpstart to a busy career, her grandmother Kris Jenner has big dreams of planning to use her name for revenue. The Kardashians “have already trademarked Dream’s name for everything from future toys to fashion projects,” according to SCMP.
The trend began when Dream was brought into this world. Kris negotiated making up to “$200,000 for footage… that she personally shot” of Dream’s birth by Blac Chyna (SCMP). The money was supposedly put in a savings account for Dream’s future.
Dream's working accomplishments recently have been an accumulation of profits from a song recording and a commercial. Chyna made Dream’s first song possible for her daughter, titled "Besties Do It Better," (kardashiandish.com). Dream’s previous “Amazon Glow” commercial with her grandmother at 5-6 years old made her family upwards of $50,000.
However, living in the public eye was never a dream for her father Rob Kardashian, and the privacy of the Kardashian grandchildren has been important, considering their parents’ celebrity status.

Along with Dream’s recent launch of her new Instagram page with “account run by parents” in her profile caption below her 695k followers, it's only fair to wonder who is making the most from this scheme of profiting off of Dream Kardashian. Are these odd jobs a source of fun and entertainment for Dream? Or has the monetization of the Kardashian name always been inevitably up for grabs?
