CARRERAS Y COMPETICIONES

Kid's Kit-Car está desarrollando un primer proyecto piloto en la zona norte de España, en torno a la provincia de Vizcaya. El objetivo es confirmar el modelo de competición y desarrollar una base amplia de equipos en este entorno, para comenzar a celebrar las primeras carreras en 2017.

Validado el modelo, el objetivo de la asociación es expandirlo a lo largo de 2018 a otras regiones de España y Portugal.

· 07:00-09:00 Track safety preparation with straw bales and tyres to protect drivers and spectators

· 07:00-08:30 Teams arrive and preparation of boxes area.

· 08:30-09:00 Event Briefing

· 09:00-09:30 Goblin scrutineering and team briefing

· 09:00-09:30 Goblin Race documentation validation and track set up

· 09:30-11:00 Goblin race event and F24 presentations

· 09:30-11:00 F24 Scrutineering and team briefing

· 09:00-09:30 Goblin scrutineering and team briefing (compulsory for all participants)

Circuit: The event will take place in the Gran Via of Bilbao in the section indicated in the image above.

Shelter: There will be limited shelter at the event, please come prepared for the weather.

Refreshments: Refreshments are not provided by race admin. at this event. Teams are recommended to prepare their meal and refreshment requirements prior to the event.

Event activities: The day will be divided in to two categories, each of which will have driving and presentation elements

Extra Information:

· As in the regulations:

o All drivers must be wearing a full-face helmet (with chin protection) with a visor or goggles, gloves, full shoes (trainers are fine), long sleeves and full-length trousers.

o Long hair must be tucked into the helmet or securely in clothing.

o Harnesses must be altered for each driver – being tightened across the waist before over the shoulders.

o All drivers must sit below the roll bar with their helmet on.

o All drivers and pushers must have a good knowledge of the vehicle and know how to isolate the power.

· Please note that photos will be taken at this event and may be used for publicity purposes; please notify Greenpower at the event if any children do not have photo permissions.

· A copy of the event risk assessment is available on request.

· Each car will need a number; this will be provided on the day.

· Only two batteries may be used during the day, batteries must be charged before the event.

Remember:

· Trickle charge batteries fully the day before the event

· Please note that spares are not yet available on the day such as wheels, electrical spares and drive belts.

· Please come prepared for the weather.

· Make sure you have any equipment required for the regulations to fit each driver.
