KIAH aims to be the first point of call for all hospital staff, community organisations and community members seeking Indigenous patient accommodation and transport in Brisbane. This Includes pick-up and drop-off at Brisbane airport, train or bus stops and access to other support as required by our patients.

Centrally located at 35 Allen Street in Hamilton, KIAH is just a short 10-min drive to the Brisbane airport and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. At KIAH, we are proud of the community we are able to nourish and support.

Facilities

Our place at 35 Allen Street, Hamilton has eight comfortable bedrooms, each with two single beds. Guests are welcome to use our kitchen, three lounge rooms, laundry facilities, and four shared bathrooms.

Transport

Our courtesy vehicle is able to transport you and your loved ones to where you need to go. We can arrange to take you to and from your designated health facility, airport, bus or train. We can also help you through the airport on your way home.

Kiah provides transport on weekdays only, between 7am and 5pm.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that transport will always be available, so it is recommended that you also be prepared to find alternative transport.

Meals

We offer a full bed and Breakfast service through the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme payment. Every night we serve delicious home cooked meals in a family setting for only $5 per person.
