KIAH is a one of a kind Indigenous health support service in Brisbane. We provide accommodation and transport for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people from rural and remote areas travelling to Brisbane for medical treatment.
Patients and escorts who are Indigenous or family members of indigenous people are able to stay with us for as long as is required, and there are minimal out of pocket expenses for patients approved under the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (QLD) or their states equivalent.
KIAH provides a home away from home. We offer home cooked meals (for only $5), free transport (when available) and comfortable accommodation.
"I would recommend this place to any Indigenous family. The family that runs this business made my daughter Tatiana and I welcome from day one. Murray and Teena are such amazing people and have a heart of gold for Indigenous people. Love you Murray and Teena."

"KIAH Is a great meeting place for our patients, a home away from home where mob from all over can connect."
