Welcome to Fifth Grade!

Hello! I am Mrs. Barnes and I will be your child's math teacher this year! Ms. Naylor will teach reading and writing and Mrs. Scott will teach science and social studies. We're excited to have you join us!

Instead of weekly emailed newsletters, your child will have pre-copied pages placed in the back of their orange folders each Friday (in lieu of agenda books). These pages will contain important classroom content information for the upcoming week, as well as any important announcements. I will also keep regular communication via email.

The Fifth Grade Informer will be sent home on the first day. This newsletter contains lots of important information for the school year. There is a slip at the top to be signed and returned to show that the student's guardian has read the letter.
