Welcome to Mr. Pacelli's 5th grade classroom!

Mission Statement

I decided to become a teacher because at a very early age, I discovered that I love teaching, learning, and working with children. I remember wanting to be a teacher ever since I was in 6th grade. Throughout high school and college, I did many activities that allowed me to work with and teach children: I taught swim lessons, I was a reading mentor, and I worked at a summer camp. My goal is for every child in my class to not only learn the curriculum they need to learn, but also for them to leave 5th grade a stronger person than when they came to my classroom. I want them to develop a life-long love of learning, just as I have. I look forward to an exciting and successful school year at Potomac Elementary!
