The PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
How KES PTA Lives This Mission:
At Keystone Elementary, our PTA brings this mission to life by fostering a strong, inclusive partnership between families, educators, and community supporters. We:
Engage families by offering meaningful ways to get involved, from volunteer opportunities to family-centered events.
Empower our community through communication, resources, and accessible programming that builds confidence and connection.
Advocate for all students by supporting school needs, investing in enrichment, and amplifying student voices through spirit and service.
We believe every child deserves the support to thrive — and we’re committed to making that happen at KES.
Throughout the year, we’ve organized and helped support a wide range of events that bring our school community together, support learning, and spread kindness amongst all:
Community Night & Open House
School Carnival
Book Fair
Family Dance
Family Art Night
Binglow
STEM Night
Literacy Night
Each event is designed to build connections and enhance the student experience.
We will work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to broaden and enhance our ability to serve and advocate for all children and families.
We are dedicated to children’s educational success, health, and well-being through strong family and community engagement, while remaining accountable to the principles upon which our association was founded.
We acknowledge the potential of everyone without regard, including but not limited to: age, culture, economic status, educational background, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, legal status, marital status, mental ability, national origin, organizational position, parental status, physical ability, political philosophy, race, religion, sexual orientation, and work experience.
We value the individual contributions of members, employees, volunteers, and partners as we work collaboratively to achieve our association’s goals.
All members, employees, volunteers, and partners have a shared responsibility to align their efforts toward the achievement of our association’s strategic initiatives.
National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. In Reflections, students submit artworks in the available arts category areas and program divisions: Primary (Pre-K - Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Accessible Arts (All grades welcome).
Keystone Elementary PTA is a non-profit 501c3.
