Antelope School Kindergarten
Antelope Kindergarten 2021/22
This year will be filled with learning about the letters of the alphabet and their primary sounds and spellings, sight words including color and number words, all about books, the concepts of print, how to write words, sentences, and very short stories with illustrations! We will learn how to count and understand about the quantities that match each number, how to add and subtract, how to make and use groups in benchmarks of 5 and 10, think about the attributes of two and three dimensional shapes, measurement and data. We will learn about the basics of drawing and color, creating artworks to share. This year will be an amazing adventure in learning!
We are back in school after last year's distance learning. We will have safety procedures in place (masks indoors, hand sanitizer, using our own supplies - no sharing, keeping our coughs and sneezes to ourselves, custodial cleaning and sanitizing).

Supplies for School
Supply List
Your child should have the following supplies daily (*I will provide some of the items listed)
*Pencils, *crayons, highlighters, dry erase markers, glue sticks, *white liquid glue, scissors, pencil sharpener with a cap or container, reusable water bottle (we will not have access to the water fountain), headphones in a plastic bag, and a regular-sized backpack.
Additional supplies (that I would appreciate donations of) are:
White cardstock, Kleenex/facial tissue boxes, hand sanitizer or wipes, plastic bags - quart or gallon size
