Huandao - Cycling Taiwan
What is this site for?
"Huandao" is the term that Taiwanese use for cycling one lap of the island. It is something of a common bucket list item for the increasingly cycle-conscious population. There has been a flurry of building cycling infrastructure on the island and it is now regarded as the most bike-friendly cycling destination in Asia.
This is a planning site for a planned bicycle trip around the island of Taiwan. It will be used to develop, document and share the plans.
I initially planned to do the ride in October 2020 but that plan is on indefinite hold.
