Why practice typing?

Typing Practice

Why: Our brains work faster than our fingers-- assignments will get longer-- voice recognition will not be used in schools for a long time (if ever)

Goal: Your goal is to improve by 10 words per minute by the end of the marking period.

Weekly Expectations:

• Take a 5 minute typing test (5 minutes) to determine your speed and accuracy.

• Practice your skills by completing lessons (10 minutes) and learn the correct way to type

• Continue to practice in game format (10 minutes)

Give it a try:

• Typing Website

  • Sign in using your GOOGLE account. Click on the blue "Google" button and "Accept"

    • Select TEST

      • Take a 5 MINUTE typing test

  • Select LESSONS. Start at the beginner level.
