Kenton County Middle School Intramurals are open to any student who is currently enrolled in a Kenton County Middle School.
The Fall Intramural Basketball 2025 season
Deadline to Register is Friday August 29th at 5pm
The season will begin September 12th and conclude October 4th 2025.
Practices will be on Friday evenings (except the last practice is on Wednesday Oct. 1st)
Games will be on Saturday morning/afternoon.
Location: Practices or games can be at any of the 4 KCSD middle schools.
The official game and practice schedule will be released no later than Sept 3rd 2025.

Please note that teams are not assigned to specific locations or times until September 3rd
All Intramural fees ($40 per player) must be turned into the
student's school activity coordinator prior to the start of the season.
(See below for your activity coordinator's information. Fees cover: Referee Cost and League Team Shirt)
Intramural sports are not possible without the help of our parent/guardian volunteers.
Please consider being a part of your child's experience by being a volunteer to coach.

Volunteer coaches MUST: be 21+ years old and be an approved volunteer with the county.
Be to an approved volunteer you must complete the $10 background check at the Board office. Once completed this is valid for 5 years.
Coaches save the date: There will be a mandatory Coaches meeting on
Tuesday September 2nd at Turkey Foot Middle at 6:30p in the cafe for those who are approved to coach.
Each child interested in playing intramural sports with Kenton County MUST:
complete the registration form (link below)
upload a copy of their insurance card
remit league fee payment prior to the start of the season.
Students must provide proof of insurance in order to participate. If you do not hold insurance
there is an option below to purchase supplemental insurance.

Intramural fee must be turned into your home school, and can not be turned in at practices or games. It can be given directly to your activity coordinator (names below) or the front office.

Kenton County Secondary Coordinator (League Coordinator):
Stop by your child's school office, during business hours, and complete the $10 volunteer background check. Results do take 24-72 hours to process. The results must be back PRIOR to being allowed to volunteer and work with children.

This form can also be printed, completed, and returned to school to be given to the activity coordinator.
