About Me

Hey everyone! I was born Jenifer Davis in Poplar Bluff, MO in 1981. From there my parents moved us to California and then to Ozark, Arkansas when I was in the second grade (1988). I grew up in Razorback country! I graduated valedictorian from Pleasant View High School in 1999.

I attended Arkansas Tech University in nearby Russellville, AR. and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in December of 2003. In January of 2004 I began my Master's Degree in History and graduated with my MA in May of 2011.

While I attended high school I worked at a local Sonic drive-in. I acquired a second job in college as a local county dispatcher/jailer. I worked as an Assistant Manager at Sonic for six years and ended my career in law enforcement to take a teaching job at Hayti High School in 2006.

After getting a phone call from Mr. David Gilmore in the Summer of 2006, my life changed forever! I never dreamed I would love teaching as much as I do...but I do. I can't imagine doing anything else and I am forever grateful to David that he gave me a chance to find my true calling in life.

I met my husband while working at Hayti High, he was the Junior High Math Teacher at the time. We were married in July of 2007 and were blessed with our first child, a daughter, in the Fall of 2009. We are now a family of five! We were again blessed in 2013 with boy/girl twins...who are definitely carrying their terrible threes into their fours! LOL

My life if pretty crazy and chaotic. There is rarely a dull moment! And that's ok, I am grateful for all that God has blessed me. My life isn't perfect, but its perfect for me.

Thank you for sharing your child/student with me this year! I hope we make many fun memories together while learning all things necessary pertaining to American Government (which is one of my passions).

Please feel free to contact me if you need anything! I look to working with you this year.
