Students will work in teams to design, build and race an actual boat made only out of cardboard sheets and duct tape! Students will then race their boat across the Wave Pool at Hawaiian Falls Roanoke! It will be a fun time!

FOUR Sheets of Cardboard Max Per Team! Cardboard must be the cardboard sheets that were donated by Smurfit Westrock to BCI!

Unlimited Rolls of Duct Tape Allowed! PTA will provide some & kids bring in the rest! Must be Duct Tape--any brand of duct tape is fine!

Students will be given a certain number of oars to help them race their boat across the wave pool!

Students will race in their boats across the wave pool–the goal is to be fastest across and not sink!

Students will be working on a Cardboard Boat Race Team! Students will find out their team 5.8!

All Cardboard Boats will be walked to the Dumpster Area for Disposal after racing!
