I gave a poster presentation at "CurvoBio2024" held in Warsaw, Poland. This is an international conference focusing on the relationship between curved surfaces and living organisms.
As it was my first international conference, I was nervous, but thanks to practicing my presentation carefully, I was able to discuss with a variety of people. Thank you to everyone who came to see my poster.
I was selected to give a flash presentation before the poster presentation. Most of the presenters were PhDs or postdoctoral researchers, and I felt very proud to be selected from among them.
This conference had a photo contest with the theme "Beautiful curves created by life", and I submitted a photo of my jaw hoping for some laughs. This "Jaw Jork" was well-received to some extent, so I was happy. When it was displayed on the big screen, I felt a little regretful that I had been too silly (laughs).
During my free time, I also did some sightseeing in Warsaw. It was fun to go sightseeing with other lab members.
