1. Procedures for Verifying Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Settings

1.1. Accessing the MFA Settings Page
Access the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings page using one of the following methods in your browser.
Standard Method (Common to all users)
Log in to keio.jp
If the above method does not work, please follow the steps below according to your category.
Faculty and Staff
Log in to keio.jp.
Click the "keio.jp Settings (keio.jp設定)" tab at the top of the screen, then click "MFA Settings (多要素認証利用設定)".
Students (Regular Programs)
Log in to keio.jp.
Hover over "Apps" in the left menu and click "Multi-Factor Authentication usage settings" under the "keio.jp Settings" category.
Note for smartphones: Tap the "hamburger menu" (three lines) in the upper right, tap "keio.jp Settings," and then tap "MFA Settings."
Correspondence Course Students
Log in to keio.jp.
Click the "Various Changes" tab at the top of the screen, then click "Multi-Factor Authentication usage settings"".
Check the status of each authentication factor in the "Security Methods" section.
【Okta Verify】 Confirm that the device you registered is listed. If it is not registered, no device will be shown, and only a "Set up" button will appear. (Multiple devices can be registered.)
【Biometric / Passkey】 Check the "Security Key or Biometric Authenticator" section and confirm your registered authentication method is listed. If not registered, only a "Set up" button will appear. (Multiple methods can be registered.)
【Google Authenticator】 Confirm that the button for Google Authenticator shows "Remove." If it is not registered, a "Set up" button will appear. (Only one device can be registered.)
【Phone】 Confirm that the last four digits of the phone number you registered are listed. If not registered, the number will not be shown, and only a "Set up" button will appear. (Multiple numbers can be registered.)
Check the "multi-factor authentication" field under the "Personal Information" section.
[IMPORTANT NOTE] Once the MFA mandatory deadline has passed, MFA will remain enabled regardless of the "multi-factor authentication" setting. Furthermore, users will no longer be able to disable MFA, even if they manually change the setting to "Disable.
Enable: Multi-Factor Authentication is currently active(on).
Disable or Blank: Multi-Factor Authentication is currently inactive(off).
If the status is "Disable," first ensure that at least one security method is registered (Step 1.2), then "Step 2" to enable it.
