The Mission of SFC
The education pursued by the Faculty of Policy Management and the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies encourages students to "think for themselves about what the problem is, develop a method to solve it, and put that method into practice (identifying problems and finding solutions)" rather than being given a question and taught the answer. This is because many of the existing issues need more than just a single academic field such as economics or medicine to solve. Shonan Fujisawa Campus is where students will develop problem-solving skills through cross-disciplinary learning and build a professional foundation to find solutions to complex issues.
